Whip It [trailer] - Yay! Roller Derby! Drew Barrymore is both directing and starring in this story of another confused teenager. While this film does appear interesting, it may end up being a “chick flick”  instead of a story everyone should be able to enjoy.  Hopefully there will be lots of violence, cause that’s all that is really funny anyway. The Movie Bandits recommend that you rent Whip It.

Jennifer’s Body - There are way too many slang terms that were invented for this film. Megan Fox is still hot, but her acting ability is still unknown. Fox barely speaks throughout the entire film. As far as horror films go, this film is definitely a step up. There are a handful of well thought out characters that actually have a reason to exist. This film is fun to watch, but don’t freak out. (BTW, no it doesn’t happen). The Movie Bandits recommend that you download Jennifer’s Body.
