dvdThe Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969) - a great classic that does a good job of showing the progression of technology, but even Freakazoid did a better job of computer-transferred powers.

dvdInterview with the Vampire - wins the gold medal for creepiness because of the high quality make-up artists.  Kirsten Dunst is a great child actor in this - her breakout movie.

downloadFred Claus - a solid premise but, as Vince Vaughn has to watch his language, the movie seems to lack the elements of a good family movie with its bland story and unnecessary side plots.

theatersMeet Bill - a semi-dry independent comedy that, though it is based on romance, is successfully executed. It’s another one of Eckhart’s great movies and as well as one of Alba’s typecasted roles.

dont-watchSpace Chimps - We watched the entirety of Babylon A.D. though we couldn’t sit through this one for more than 15 minutes. Sorry for the disappointment.

theatersDon’t Mess with the Zohan - not Sandler’s best film, but still has plenty of comedic value and is worth watching.

dont-watchThe Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - bottom line: Frasier is not capable of fighting Jet Li.

downloadThe House Bunny - funny at times, yet painfully predictable. The issues in this film seem suited to a deeper script.

downloadThe Longshots - Its lesson of sportsmanship is the only meat in this plot. The remaining 90 minutes are stereotypical at best.

downloadMeet Dave - a good, clean movie which seems to have helped Eddie Murphy climb out of the hole made by Norbit.

theatersMan on Wire - a monument to the documentary genre. This film is well shot and the story is interesting. Award worthy.

theatersZack and Miri Make a ***** - once again worth seeing as the rest of the Movie Bandits got around to seeing it.

theatersTransporter 3 - Jason Statham returns with as much car as you can handle. His female passenger is easy on the eyes, but her personality is deflated (as usual with these movies). Statham lives on as a competent actor.

Hosts: Austin Brown, Neil Ganshorn, Dan Wallace
