Gran Torino [trailer] - Clint Eastwood will add another great film to his already extensive resume as a director, producer, and actor. This film is the first in a line of (hopefully) many good “tax break” movies in Michigan.

Ink Heart [trailer] - Brendan Fraser has made yet another children’s movie that seems to reference The Never-Ending Story and The Wizard of Oz.  This film tries to bridge the gap between adult and children’s movies, but it fails.

The Reader [trailer] - This story is a very difficult to follow, but seems like a Victorian-era chick flick. In the WWII genre, this film looks like the complete opposite of Valkyrie.

Seven Pounds - This film takes a long time to get the plot moving. Trying to figure out why things were happening was the worst part of watching this movie. The film is very depressing and that may be why we are not so excited to have seen it. Despite anything negative, Will Smith remains an excellent actor.
