The Fall - Probably the most visually spectacular film we’ve ever seen, the film has two dominant settings which migrate back and forth from reality to the fantasy world. The effectiveness of each world is enforced by the way the shots are composed, drab and gritty in the real world, vibrant and epic in the fantasy world. Hopefully, the word will spread fast for this independent movie as it is sure to please nearly any crowd.
Doubt - This film is not what the trailer and media hype have made it out to be, in content nor complexity. Philip Seymour Hoffman plays a decent supporting actor, but gives up title as most competent acting to one of the children’s mothers. Overall, the film spends most of its time on character development, more than the first hour.
Hosts: Austin Brown, Ryan Asava, Ryan Stibich, Dan Wallace
